Some loves survive death. Some curses make sure of it.
Tiziano Rivera sees death before it happens.
A touch, a stranger, the wrong object at the wrong time—and the vision strikes: blood, fear, a final breath he cannot forget. He has spent years trying to live with the burden of the Vestigia.
Then Ginevra appears.
She is elegant, secretive, and haunted by a past no woman her age should possess. She knows Tiziano’s name. She knows his bloodline. And she knows that if she does not reach him first, someone far more dangerous will.
Because five centuries ago, a Renaissance alchemist created an instrument meant to save seers from persecution. Instead, it unleashed a chain of curses, betrayals, and unfinished love that still binds the present to the dead.
Now Tiziano must face a truth older than memory: his life may not be his first, Ginevra may not be a stranger, and the woman hunting them both will destroy anything that stands between her and the man she believes belongs to her.
In the shadows of modern Rome, between hidden libraries, moonlit cemeteries, and bloodbound magic, love becomes the most dangerous curse of all.

GIO MARINO – Author of Dark Fantasy Romance books
Some obsessions begin before you can name them. I was barely four years old when I first watched Il segno del comando — an Italian thriller about a woman who exists between past and present, who saves the man she loves so he will not die “again.” I didn’t understand everything I was seeing, but something took hold and never let go. Years later I tracked down the series and watched it again, and found it even better than the memory. And it returns, uninvited, the way ancestral things do — surfacing when my mind wanders, bringing with it an atmosphere so vivid it feels less like remembering and more like being called back.
There was a name. In the historical records of the area where I now live — Modena, in northern Italy — I found her: Ginevra Gamberini, a real woman accused of witchcraft and of preparing a love potion. She had existed. She had been tried for it. I didn’t invent her name — history gave it to me, and I couldn’t refuse.
And Rome — Rome I lived. For years I had a home in Trastevere, and I spent long afternoons simply getting lost there. The stones distil centuries of history into the air, and after a while you stop being a visitor and start feeling like the neighbourhood has always known you were coming.
That is where Vestigia was born.
